Lisa started Sapphire Enterprises LLC (d/b/a Abiding Strategy®) in 2009 to help more people grow and succeed, providing keynote presentations, consulting & training in leadership, sales, change management and more.
About the Sapphire Enterprises LLC name:
Sapphire is my birthstone. But more importantly, it’s mentioned in a message of hope, in Isaiah 54:11 — O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colors, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
Sapphire is also mentioned as a part of the foundation of Heaven in Revelation 21:19 — And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; …. Foundations are important to all of us, and the analogy of a strong foundation fits well with my purpose to help businesses build a strong foundational strategy so they can make a real difference in the world. Sapphire is also one of the strongest of precious stones.
About the d/b/a Abiding Strategy® name:
The d/b/a *Abiding Strategy® also reflects my desire to help my clients create a strategy that will stand the test of time. I chose the word Abiding because of John 8:31-32, and because ‘to abide’ means ‘to endure.’ That’s what I want for my clients; I can help them leave legacies.
The images in the Abiding Strategy logo are meant to evoke feelings of legacy and striving for improvement. The wave is reminiscent of the philosophy of continuing improvement and a never ending wave of forward motion. The cross-like symbol reflects our desire for exploration as in points of the compass, and the reflection of a human stretched out seeking guidance.
